FABULOUS Spring Semester!
Join us at our Formal Recruitment Events: February 13-20, 2012

Students must have completed 12 CSU San Marcos units in order to join a fraternity or sorority chapter. Transferred college units and AP credit can meet this requirement. It is highly recommended that students have a 2.50 GPA, and some individual chapters maintain an even higher minimum GPA requirement. Students cannot be enrolled through Extended Studies/Open University. The CSUSM Recruitment Registration Form is due one week prior to recruitment dates.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our event! Thanks to your support, our chapter was able to raise over $10,000!!!!

Our chapter will be donating the proceeds from the event to the Center for Community Solutions. Founded in 1969, Center for Community Solutions (CCS) helps more than 30,000 adults and children each year to heal and prevent relationship and sexual violence. CCS operates the only rape crisis center in the city of San Diego along with a countywide 24-hour bilingual crisis helpline. The nonprofit agency also provides emergency domestic violence shelters, hospital and court accompaniment, as well as legal and counseling services for those affected by rape, domestic violence, and elder abuse. CCS also works with local community groups and schools to provide innovative prevention programs to promote healthy relationships and peaceful communities.

Please join us for our Fall 2011 Meet and Greet on Tuesday November 15th.
The event will be held in Academic 305. The first round will start at 6:00pm and the second at 7:15pm.

Mr. Alpha Chi is an annual event hosted by many chapters of Alpha Chi Omega across the country. It is a male pageant in which different Cal State San Marcos leaders will compete for the title of Mr. Alpha Chi for the 2011-2012 school year. Those in attendance will include students, Alpha Chi Omega members from universities nearby, community members, faculty, friends, and family members of all the aforementioned. Our chapter will be donating the proceeds from the event to the North County Family Violence Protection Center. This center provides legal and social services to victims of all types of family violence, including spousal abuse, child abuse, elder abuse, and same sex abuse. They will be partnering with sexual assault response teams (SART) to work collaboratively to provide services for the community by offering specialized sexual assault intervention
services.

Over the weekend our lovely Iota Tau Chapter participated in the annual Relay for Life at CSUSM supporting cancer research to find a cure! We were the top college fundraiser out of 20 college teams raising over $3,500!!!

Tomorrow the lovely Iota Tau Chapter is having a fundraiser at Pizza Nova in San Marcos off Twin Oaks Valley Road and San Marcos Blvd!! It will be from 6-9pm and 20% will be donated to the American Cancer Society supporting Relay for Life happening on Magrum Field at the CSUSM campus on April 30th! No flyer is needed to participate in the fundraiser, just tell your server that you are there for Alpha Chi Omega!! Come support Alpha Chi and the American Cancer Society for food, fun, and a great cause!!! See Facebook E-vite
